To say I’m behind in posting is an under statement.  But this wedding really brought back some AWESOME memories.  Fernanda, and Francois exchanged their vows before family and friends in the backyard of Claudia, the “one woman” behind, “One Woman Winery“.   Some of these guest came in from as far as France, and Brazil.

So what happens when you marry a Beautiful, Brazilian Vegan Desert maker to this Frenchman that happens to be one of the best Pastry Chefs in the world, at a great Southold Wine Vineyard?  You get an Awesome Wedding Day, with great people, food, drink, music and atmosphere.  Did I forget to mention a really old bottle of cognac, guitar playing, great food, outstanding people, and great music.  And for the record, Francois is the only groom….. strike that, the only person I’ve ever seen to keep personally turning up the music no matter how loud it was.  Forget his skills in the kitchen, that alone makes him number “one” in my book.

Fernanda, Francois, a big “Thank You”  to you, your family and friends for such a BEAUTIFUL DAY….

The rain took a break for Lisa, and Michael’s Wedding Day, you should remember them from their hot engagement session earlier this year.   I mean it rained the day before, then came back after their day was done.  But the Sun kicked ass for this beautiful couple.  A rented beach home in Hampton Bays played host to family and friends.  While we were taking portraits after their beautiful ceremony, Michael told me about this woman that usually rides are horse down the beach at that time of the day.  He seemed a little bummed for a minute when the horse didn’t show up.  But as we were about to leave the beach I hear Michael say “There she goes”  Next thing I know he’s flying down the beach after her.  We’ll he caught up with the rider, and we had fun capturing some photos.  Lisa couldn’t have been happier.  I just wished I brought better sandals to handle the beach.  Brick oven pizza, a choreographed dance, and a whole lot of Love.   All in all it was an AWESOME DAY.  Except for the part when the mosquitoes bit me on my head.  Boy do I miss my locs.
