I posted a photo of “Little Guy”  (that’s not his name, just what I call him)  on Facebook the other day and got a lot of feedback about him.  So I thought I’d explain just how this chance meeting came to be, and post a few more pics of him.   It’s not a long story, trust me.

I was shooting an Engagement Session with my great couple Joy and Frank, in Chelsea.  As we walked down 9th Ave we came across a man sitting with this little Bull Dog puppy in front of the Knickerbocker Meat Market of all places.   Besides looking cool, and cute, the puppy  just seem to fit in that scene.   We stopped for a few moments as he stole the show.  And he actually came up to me when I raised my camera and sat still at my feet for the shot below.  What a ham! (no pun intended) LOL

I know it’s been awhile since my last post but here we go.

What can I say about these two that the title didn’t say.  The way they vibe with one another would be obvious to any one with in a mile of them.  You don’t actually have to see, or hear them, but you can still feel them.  It’s what Life is all about.  When I ran into this couple at a recent wedding I shot, they were just the way I first met them about 4 years back before their own wedding.  And what does that mean?  Just take a look at some of my favorite images from a Just Us session I asked them to do with me.  The streets of Chelsea, and the High Line Park were the back drop for this day.

CK and Amber, you are AWESOME people, and a great couple.  Thanks for sharing guys.

My friend Jeff from 101.9 RXP recently asked me to take some images at the All Points West Festival in Liberty State Park on Sunday.  Pretty cool, even with the monsoon and mud.  It was actually my first time hearing most of the bands and I had a blast. Even with the mud.

I recently met up with Cintia and John for a portrait session.  I’m always trying to figure out what to call one of these sessions, and for some reason I thought of one of my oldest friends named Darryl.  We grew up on the same block in Brooklyn and did everything together, well almost everything.  One time he told me that two brothers and himself formed a rap group and were calling themselves “Just us 3.”   I think after a while they the two brothers dropped Darryl and went back to “Just Us Two.” So with that said don’t bother asking me how I connected it to my photography, I just did.
