DUMBO is definitely one of my favorite places to shoot, and hang out. So it’s only natural that I chose it for Cheryl and Eric’s E Session. Now Cheryl told me from the first day we spoke that she’s very laid back. But what took me by surprise was that Eric was even more laid back than she is. YEP!! These two were made for each other. As we walked through DUMBO snapping away, for some reason I felt like I was seeing it for the first time. I guess it had something to do with the Brooklyn Bridge Park, a serious work in progress that’s changing the face of the Brooklyn waterfront. It has be biggest, greenest, hilliest (is that a word) lawn that I’ve ever seen in Brooklyn this side of Prospect Park
Eric and Cheryl’s wedding day will have an additional special twist for me. The company she currently works at use to be my 9 to 5 for 18 years before my photography career. So there’s going to be a number of familiar faces there. It’s going to be a blast.
Yep! That’s a carousel in the background, Jane’s Carousel to be exact.
Cheryl insisted on a shot in front of the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, too bad the line was mad long.
