As the 2009 season begins I felt it was time for a change.  So I decided to relaunch my blog with a new simpler look, and launch a second site for Lifestyle Portraits.

When you look at the Lifestyle site you may notice that I don’t have a whole lot of images up.   Well that’s ok!  From now through the month of March I’ll give (1) 11 x 14 print to anyone that books a portrait session.  Not to mention a possible guest spot on the new Lifestyle site.

This season I’m also going to try something new.  I was inspired by my great friend Jason Groupp to try “vlogging”  not sure if he actually coined that phrase, but I always think of him and Lindsey Thorne when I hear it. That could be due the fact I’ve only heard them say it.  Oh well…….   The “Vlog” will incorporate video and stills from my sessions and should be fun.  In the next few weeks you can tell me what you think.

Everything above can explain my post title  “New Season, New Look,” but “Great Life” needs a little more to explain.  In the last few months, there have been a number of milestone events in my life.  Some awesome, some not so awesome, but they have all led me to the same realization. I’ve been blessed with a great life.

So people, welcome to the new blog, enjoy!!

It seemed cool make this the premier image of my new blog.  It was part of my very first exhibit a few years ago after my television debut.  Can anyone figure out what show that was?  Ha, Ha.

  • Congrats on the new blog! Thanks so much for the well wishes from you and Simone.. can’t wait to see you guys :-)

  • Beautiful just beautiful…..I alway visit to see what is new.

  • Rob, I have been a silent lurker (okay – stalker) of your site for well-well over a year. I have LOVED every single aspect of your old blog and have been checking every month to see if you had any new additions. I was particularly a huge fan of your slideshows and your choices of music. I HAVE MISSED SEEING YOUR WORK!!!
Well, I am glad to see you are back and CONGRATULATIONS on the launching of this new site, but I have to say that I am so very sad to see all of the weddings you previously documented now gone. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for your fans.

I think your photography is absolutely AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING and I cannot wait until I have a “life moment” worthy of being documented.

    Again CONGRATULATIONS and God Bless!!
